Alex Zambelli is a Senior Platform Manager for Dolby Vision Encoding and OTT Enablement core tech platforms at Dolby Laboratories who has been working in the digital video and streaming media industry since 2002. Prior to joining Dolby in 2023 Alex worked at Warner Bros Discovery, Hulu and iStreamPlanet product managing their respective video platforms, and at Microsoft where he was involved in the development and technical evangelism of HTTP-based adaptive streaming technologies that became the foundation of modern streaming industry standards.

To address the demand for standardized content credentials, which are one protection against online disinformation, Andy Rosen contributes to several drafting groups that are sisters of C2PA.org. He is also serving as the secretary to SMPTE ST12-4, the UTC-Aligned Timecode update. Alongside MetaGlue and several other content mastering proponents, Andy has been advocating for SMPTE standardization of a C2PA‑friendly Descriptive Metadata Scheme. In the Audio Engineering Society, Andy provides liaison services between the working group on Forensic Audio, and both the JPEG Trust and its underlying Media Tokenization projects under the ISO SC29 working groups. With a background in live news and broadcast post production, Andy’s always happy to share inventive papers on programmatic advertising, graphics display, closed captioning, stupid compression pet tricks and crypto compliance. Andy represents File.Baby consumer integrity subscriptions, Marquise Technologies’ Digital Cinema mastering workstations, and MetaGlue’s MXFplus libraries.

Some of his notable achievements include winning the Best of IBC Award for GV Director, a live production solution that originated with a company he co-founded and developed, and securing multiple patents for broadcast control technologies.

Khawaja was the VP of Engineering and Product at AWS Elemental - where he owned 7 AWS Media Services. Prior to Elemental, he ran DynamoDB - a large NoSQL database that powers media workflows globally. Khawaja started his career at NASA, building cameras for the mars rovers! Today, he is the CEO/Cofounder at Momento, a real-time data infrastructure company that supports media customers like Paramount, Prosieben, Hokkaido TV, and more.
